There’s something rather special about seeing your artwork become part of the local community.
I’m delighted to see my greeting cards, postcards and selected artworks from Jalla Publishing House now being displayed and sold at the lovely Hulme Garden Centre.
As a Manchester artist, I love the idea of my work finding its way into local spaces and becoming part of people’s everyday lives whether it’s a card sent to someone special, a postcard kept as a little memento, or an artwork that simply makes someone stop, smile and look twice.
Hulme has such a strong sense of community, so having my work here feels particularly meaningful.
If you’re in the area, do pop into Hulme Garden Centre, have a browse and support a wonderful local space. And while you’re there, don’t forget to visit the Garden Café for a cuppa and, of course, a slice of something yummy!
It’s these small connections between local artists, local businesses and local communities that make Manchester such a creative and welcoming place.
